Our History

Richard and Rosemary Payne first opened Willow Grange, then named Coombe Hill, back in 1979. They both took a very hands-on approach towards running the home, hosting many happy residents over the years. Rosemary held the position of matron and nurse for over 25 years, while Richard handled the business side of things, alongside making any physical improvements to the building itself. They were both extremely well-respected, much-loved members of the team who are remembered fondly for opening what is now known as our beloved Willow Grange.
